On Sunday February 9, following the Divine Liturgy, we had a book presentation by Deacon Shant Kazanjian, Executive Director of the Armenian Religious Educational Council (AREC).
This new publication of the Armenian Prelacy is called "Commentaries on the Nicene Creed" By Archbishop Zareh Aznavourian of Blessed memory, the English Translation was done by Deacon Shant Kazanjian.
Rev. Fr. Hrant Kevorkian presented Deacon Shant to the audience, who began his lecture by explaining the historic background of the Creed, followed by His Eminence Archbishop Zareh Aznavourian's Background. And finally the book and its importance to us and our faith.
Everyone in the room enjoyed the lecture and are anxious to read the book.
